David Goyer: I’m extremely happy with the box office results. Thrilled. It made a ton of money. [laughs] I’m happy with that. Looking back on it, I was surprised, critically, that reviewers gave me such flack for the Holocaust aspect, which I thought was relatively small. I thought there was a double standard, because I remember thinking, “How is this any different than what they did at the beginning of X-Men?” And nobody gave them flack for that at all. Maybe because we were a horror film it wasn’t cool, and they were a comic book movie, I don’t really know why that was okay and this wasn’t. But I also never said the Holocaust caused the Dibuk, I said it was a place that it allowed it to enter… Anyway, I thought it was interesting. As casts go, this one is enough to make most mivie-goers go weak at the knees; joining the already-announced Kristen Bell (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) and Sigourney Weaver (Alien) in Disney’s latest romantic comedy You Again, the latest movie from Race To Witch Mountain director Andy Fickman, are the magnificent Jamie Lee Curtis, Odette Yustman, Kristin Chenoweth, and thrillingly, Betty White, who will forever be the wonderful Rose from the Golden Girls to us!

The comedy stars Bell as a woman whose brother is marrying her old high school enemy, and she is not keen on it. Cue many attempts to sabotage the whole thing, which we are sure will yield sidesplitting returns. We don’t care though – Jamie Lee Curtis and Rose from the Golden Girls – what more do you need?! Sounds very My Best Friend’s Wedding to us, but hopefully better.

Shooting is scheduled to begin later this summer in L.A.

Karl Urban and Adriana Barraza have been added to the cast of And Soon The Darkness, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The pair join Amber Heard and Odette Yustman, who were signed up for the British thriller remake earlier this month. The story revolves around two American girls bike riding through Argentina. When one goes missing, the other must race to find her before night falls.

Commercials director Marcos Efron is making his feature debut on the movie.

Urban has previously appeared in the Lord Of The Rings trilogy and can next be seen in J.J. Abrams’s Star Trek. Mexican actress Barraza picked up an Oscar nomination in 2006 for her turn in Babel

“Pineapple Express” star Amber Heard and “Cloverfield” actress Odette Yustman have both signed on to star in a remake of the 1970 British thriller film, “And Soon the Darkness.”

The remake will star the two actresses as American friends on a bike-riding trip in a remote part of Argentina. When one of them goes missing, the other must find her before darkness falls and her worst fears are realized, reports the Hollywood Reporter.

The original features Pamela Franklin and Michele Dotrice as two young nurses from London taking a cycling trip in rural France.

Heard will also serve as a co-producer alongside Lizzie Friedman, Karen Lauder, Deborah Marcus and Chris Clark. Marcos Efron will direct.
